Mission-driven organizations:

Are you ready to ditch the tension at work and finally have a cohesive team culture?

DOES ANY OF THIS sound like you?

  • Do you find yourself so stuck in the day-to-day of management that your organization’s big mission always ends up pushed further down the to do list?

  • Are you disappointed that specific employees don’t seem on board with the team’s mission? That they’re so disengaged or defensive, you might wonder why they haven’t moved on?

  • Are you so busy focusing on your consumers’ needs, that your employees’ needs are sometimes an afterthought?

  • Are you frustrated that some team members aren’t performing at the productivity level you expect and sometimes feel resentful and exhausted picking up the slack?

  • Do you find your team spending excess time and money rehiring and onboarding employees and then worry if you made the right choice?

what would it feel like

if you learned how to…

  • Stop micromanaging and start leading, moving your unified team forward in the work you so deeply care about. Free up your time and resources to focus on larger projects that you are uniquely skilled for and excited to take on.

  • Foster healthy and constructive communication so your team members work together in collaborative, harmonious ways, and advocate for what they need.

  • Create a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and ownership where every employee feels valued and safe to contribute to the company's purpose in their own unique way.

  • Increase the productivity of each team member by learning how to unlock the hidden gifts of hidden differences within your team. You'll lift the weight off your shoulders and no longer feel like you have to carry the whole load.

  • Reduce costs associated with attrition by understanding how to foster loyalty and self-responsibility to build a team that is just as committed to the company's mission as you are.

It’s possible.

You can have a cohesive team culture and strong connection with your coworkers, even when the work is tough.

FAQs

Get the scoop about the program

01.

when are the workshops?

We decide together what’s best for your team. You choose the start date and cadence of the workshops - weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Available times for sessions are Monday through Friday between 12-5pm MST. We choose the day and time that’s the most appropriate for your team.

02.

are the add-ons for individuals or teams to sign up for together?

This training program is meant to be a blend between collective and individualistic. The add-ons are meant for individuals who want to dive deeper into the material. Discuss with your team to determine who will be adding on discussion groups and/or one-on-one coaching. Let me know the numbers during your consultation or via email, and I’ll send you an invoice accordingly.

03.

I am interested in this, but my company isn’t ready to enroll as a team. Can i join on my own?

I hope to make this an option in the near future. For now, I suggest bringing the separate introductory training titled “The Connection Between Hidden Differences and Team Culture” to your team, so they can understand the value of this workshop series. You may also want to look at joining the Colorado Neurodiversity Chamber of Commerce, who I partner with to offer this training for individual members who identify as neurodistinct.

04.

are the sessions in-person or virtual?

All workshops are virtual, unless specifically requested to be in-person. In person workshops are available to companies located in the Denver/Boulder metro area. All discussion groups and coaching sessions are virtual. The separate introductory training titled “The Connection Between Hidden Differences and Team Culture” is available in person, with a travel fee. No travel fee for Denver/Boulder metro area.

05.

how is this different from other diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEI&B) training?

A report to Harvard Business Review from the Return on Disability Group shared that although 90% of companies claim to prioritize diversity, only 4% consider disability in those initiatives. This training focuses on what 96% of DEI&B efforts overlook - hidden differences (neurodiversity, invisible disabilities, and chronic illnesses).

06.

we don’t have disabilities on our team. what does this have to do with our team culture?

According to a 2017 study by the Center for Talent Innovation, among white-collar, college-educated employees, 30% have a disability. But only 3.2% self-identify as having a disability to their employers. Of all employees with a disability, 62% of them are invisible. This training also focuses on neurodiversity and chronic illnesses, bringing the percentage likely even higher. There is a very high probability that you do have employees who are silently struggling and you aren’t aware of it, signaling a culture problem if they’re not comfortable talking about it. Bringing awareness to these problems helps promote understanding, connection, and collaboration, enhancing your team culture.

07.

is this for managers or for people with hidden differences?

This workshop series is for everyone, and I recommend that all team members enroll together, creating a common language to talk about our needs. It’s necessary for managers, team members, and those with hidden differences no matter what role they’re in to have these awarenesses and skills. I teach that leadership is not positional, and that all members of a team have the capacity to lead, so, yes, even the leadership training is for those who don’t manage others.
