hi, i’m jenn.

I help mission-driven organizations ditch awkward team tension and experience true team cohesion.

about me

I am an educator, public speaker, and executive coach.

After experiencing two traumatic brain injuries while working as part of a team, I witnessed how confused my supervisors and peers were with how to handle my needs in the workplace. Our previously cohesive team now felt tense, and I didn’t feel safe sharing my needs.

I wanted to feel valued, seen, and understood.

I began conducting interviews with other disabled, neurodivergent, and chronically ill employees and learned that I was not alone.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, I knew my unique experience and education could illuminate a new pathway for companies to create more awareness and inclusion in their teams.

Having a cohesive, collaborative team where everyone’s unique experience is celebrated is possible. After starting to share and advocate for myself, I began to realize that coworkers not only respond kindly to self-advocacy, they crave it. As social beings, we crave the information that allows us to connect with one another better.

I teach organizations how supporting hidden differences such as neurodiversity and invisible disabilities can create a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and ownership where every employee feels empowered to contribute to the company’s purpose in their own unique way. I’m proud of the awareness I’ve created around how prevalent neurodiversity and invisible disabilities are in the workforce and how we can support these humans in their incredible work.

core values

CONNECTION • curiosity • integrity • wholeness

The Working Well believes in celebrating the whole person, so that mission-driven organizations benefit from stronger connections within their teams. I value integrity and curiosity, because I believe in developing genuine relationships with ourselves and those I serve. I believe that staying curious is necessary for creating supportive, nourishing relationships so that people can feel connected to others wholly.

Jenn’s talk was informative and rooted in inclusion. Her ability to speak from an objective/scientific perspective, as well as from personal experience did not go unnoticed, and her ability to relate to the topic directly was powerful. She encouraged group participation and made everyone in the room feel heard and included. Our attendees loved the content and learning about these topics.
